
Hour of Code is an annual event held around the world designed to expose students to the value and importance of Computer Science. Each year, students from across the Boise School District participate in this exciting hands-on event to learn more about Computer Science by practing computer coding.
The Hour of Code takes place during Computer Science Education Week. This year's Computer Science Week is December 3 -9, 2018.
At Monroe Elementary School, students from Kindergarten to 6th grade, spent part of their morning enjoying computer coding - all with the goal of helping establish a foundation for success in any 21st-century career path. Watch the following video to learn more.
