Hello Pierce Park Community!
I am Miss Ekins, and I am the school counselor. As the school counselor, I help support all students' learning! Please contact me at mk.ekins@boiseschools.org if you have questions or concerns or if your family needs assistance. I am at Pierce Park on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I am excited to be here at Pierce Park, and I look forward to a great year!
What's New:
Unfortunately, at this time, the opportunity to have school-based therapy at Pierce Park is not available. I have a list of agencies that currently have openings, and there is also an opportunity for five free counseling sessions through BPA Health. In the meantime, we are trying to figure out another option. Please reach out to me if you have any questions. Thank you.
My website is live! Here is the link: https://sites.google.com/boiseschools.org/pierceparkcounseling/home
I am gauging interest in small groups. If your student would benefit from a small group, please fill out the referral below.

Not Feeling Well?
Follow Illness Procedure
Staying home when a person has symptoms of illness protects the school community by preventing the spread of illness and allows the person experiencing symptoms of illness the opportunity to rest and recover. If you're not feeling well, please follow the Boise School District Illness Procedure before entering any school or workplace.

SCHOOL BREAKFAST AND LUNCH FEES FOR 2023 2024
School meals were free for all students during the 2021 2022 school year. Congress has not extended these waivers for the 2023 2024 school year. Beginning in August, students will be charged for meals based upon their household benefit status.
If you think your household would qualify (eligibility guidelines) for free or reduced priced meals, you are encouraged to complete an online meal application. Applications will be available in early July 2023. Once determined, meal prices for 2023 2024 school year will be available on the District Food & Nutrition Services website.
